Retiring: SSS pension, GSIS retirement, Pag-IBIG savings: your forms
You are turning 60 or 65 (or leaving government service) and want your pension and your savings released.
Forms in this pack: SSS retirement claim; GSIS retirement (with SSS service: RA 7699 portability); GSIS retirement; Pag-IBIG savings (provident benefits claim); Update your SSS pensioner record.
SSS retirement claim: At 60 if you have stopped working (optional retirement) or at 65 (technical retirement). A monthly pension with 120 or more monthly contributions before the semester of retirement, else a lump sum.
GSIS retirement (with SSS service: RA 7699 portability): If you worked both in government and in the private sector and need the two periods counted together.
GSIS retirement: If you are retiring from government service.
Pag-IBIG savings (provident benefits claim): Retirement is one of the grounds to withdraw your Pag-IBIG savings.
Update your SSS pensioner record: Later, when your address, bank account or status changes.
SSS retirement pays a lifetime monthly pension to a member with at least 120 monthly contributions before the semester of retirement; with fewer, a lump sum of what was paid plus interest. Optional retirement is at 60 (after you stop working), technical retirement at 65.
Not for: Early retirement packages from an employer (that is the company's own process) or disability claims.
