Your first job: TIN, SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG: your forms
You were just hired for your first job and HR asked for your TIN, SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG numbers.
Forms in this pack: Get your TIN as an employee (BIR 1902); SSS number (E-1 Personal Record); PhilHealth number (PMRF); Pag-IBIG MID number.
Get your TIN as an employee (BIR 1902): Only if you have no TIN yet. Your employer files it with the BIR office for your address; never get a second TIN.
SSS number (E-1 Personal Record): Only if you have no SSS number yet. Your employer then reports you as its employee.
PhilHealth number (PMRF): Only if you have no PhilHealth number yet. Tick Registration as the purpose.
Pag-IBIG MID number: Only if you have no Pag-IBIG MID yet.
First-time jobseekers pay no fee for a police clearance, NBI clearance, barangay clearance, PSA birth certificate or TIN, among others — bring a barangay certification that you are a first-time jobseeker (RA 11261, sections 4 and 5).
Not for: Someone who already has these numbers (you keep the same ones for life — give HR the old ones), or a freelancer registering a business (see Start a business on your own).
Not affiliated with BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG or any government agency.
